Fallon’s challenge was to drive awareness of the KODIAQ in a cluttered market while reinforcing ŠKODA’s more emotional brand positioning. So we set about creating relevant and meaningful content that would differentiate the car. To mark the official announcement of the car’s name we highlighted its inspiration: the Alaskan Kodiak bear, and the island where it comes from. And for one day the city of Kodiak officially changed its name, replacing the K for Q, after our SUV.
